Seven Year Tribulation? Where in Scripture?
We have been taught for decades, even centuries, that the tribulation Yeshua spoke of was seven years long. In fact, anyone that wrote the inspired Word of Elohiym (the entirety of God), had nothing to say regarding a seven year tribulation. Nowhere in Scripture or Epistles teaches a seven year tribulation. How could this have been overlooked all these centuries? In searching out the Scripture, the only seven year advent occurring in the end time is the 70th week of Daniel; the last seven years of the 490 determined on Israel “to finish the transgression, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy place.” (Dan 9:24 nasb)
The last seven years is a key determination of the end time clock. Following, is some of the scriptures that tie in with Daniel’s prophecy. Yeshua (our Messiah) and Paul, the Apostle, tell of the events, within the last seven years, that determine the timing of the “harpazo,” (the gathering or rapture of Yeshua’s disciple’s). First, it is important to know when the harpazo happens.
The 69 weeks of of Daniel ended when the Messiah was crucified:
Daniel 9:24-27
finish the transgression, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for
iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and
prophecy and to anoint the most holy {place.}
restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince {there will be}
seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again, with plaza and
moat, even in times of distress.
“Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have
nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the
city and the sanctuary. And its end {will come} with a flood; even to
the end there will be war; desolations are determined.
“And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in
the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain
offering; and on the wing of abominations {will come} one who makes
desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is
poured out on the one who makes desolate.”
Daniel 12:9:
Constatine’s destruction of the Jews traditions and the inception of the Babylonian/Roman/Greek way of understanding Yahweh has given us, the contemporary “church” a flawed undrstanding of Scripture. This has led to many mis-interpretations; one of them being the seven year tribulation.
Therefore, let’s reconstruct the end time events we long to see. We’ll start with what Paul says regarding the events that must take place before the “pre-tribulation harpazo (rapture).”
1Thessalonians 4:16-17
voice of {the} archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in
Christ will rise first.
Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them
in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be
with the Lord.
Our Gathering together with Him is the rapture. Paul reassured the Thessalonians, and all Christendom, that we will see the anti-Messiah stand in the Holy Place spewing out great blasphemies to the Elohiym of all creation; all creation seen and unseen. We will witness the great apostasy; the falling away.
Throughout the past 1938 years there has been a successive falling away from the true faith taught through the Apostles , Torah and Prophets. However, there will be a “great” falling away” approaching the start of the last 7 years before Jesus becomes our reigning King on earth; that is, the 70th week prophesied by the prophet Daniel. During this time, the world will experience great violence, economic ruin and intense governmental and military intervention into our private lives. Before the development of a brief “false” peace throughout the earth, Christians, or should I say, “those who occupy a seat during the sunday morning rituals called “church” will becoe dissallusioned with what’s happenning in the world and fall away saying, “the preachers said we would escape these things through the rapture. We have been lied to. Jesus is just a myth that I bought into.” These people expected an easy faith…and there are millions of them in this world.
At the same time, a great number will come out of the “sea of humanity” without hope, in fear of what’s to come. These people will be reached with the hope in Yeshua we have received. Millions will come to Messiah Jesus in the end. Many who have backslidden will get off the fence and become one of the lambs without spot or blemish.
We must be ready. This is why Yahweh our Elohiym is revealing this message to many in this time. He is blowing the “trumpet of preperation.” It is imperative to heed His call to “come out from among her (Babylon) or else suffer the wrath that is to come upon the inhabitants of the earth.”
Before the “gathering” of the Bride of Messiah, we will experience some hard times. But, not the wrath of Yahweh; that is, the great tribulation. With our nations new Muslim President, the disastreous economic climate, terrorism and nuclear war on the horizon, the stage is set for the “one world government” and the appearence of the anti-Messiah. Israel is actively fighting its own war on nations that want to end its very existence. Iran and Syria will launch a nuclear attack on Israel, who will respond with its own nuclear arsenal. After the smoke clears, a person will appear that will cause an agreement with the world’s powers that will grant a brief peace with the mid-east nations. That treaty is the beginning of the 70th week prophesied by Daniel the Prophet. This treaty will be the “band-aid” for the nuclear holocaust; to end the world-wide violence and create a false peace that will trick many into believing that this supposed “messiah” is the real Messiah. The treaty will allow Israel to build their Temple that the anti-Messiah will stand in 3 1/2 years later. All these things will be seen by Christians before the “gathering.”
In summary, the pre-tribulation rapture happens after the great apostasy and the abomination of desolation where the anti-Messiah will stand in the Holy Place and spout off great blasphemies to Yahweh, Yeshua and the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh). Please refer to the Scripture above that documents this. This means the pre-tribulation rapture occurs directly before the “great tribulation” which is 3 1/2 years (in the midst of) from the start of the 70th week of Daniel. There isn’t a reference in all scripture that validates a seven year tribulation; therefore, be aware of the fact that we will see many disturbing things right before our eyes. Paul wanted to comfort the Thessalonians by letting them know these things. And I want to comfort you that Yeshua is our deliverer and if we need to die for our faith, then great is the reward for the Martyrs of God. Death or the rapture is our ticket out of this sinful world into the awesome glory of the presence of our Glorious Heavenly Father.
We must be prepared for hardship and as it has been from the beginning to this very moment, hardship has always been the pathway to peace. I fear that many will fall away from the faith because of the watered down, candy coated Gospel of the last 50 years. The ignorant approach of end-time events have led to a misunderstanding of what we have to look forward to. Teachings, all over this nation, have promised Christians a rose garden when it comes to the rapture, as if to say we will not have tough times. The truth is, we will see many violent and disturbing events, but we’ll also experience peace. The socialistic governments that will lead this world will be to us as Sodom was to Lot, a vexation of spirit. Homosexuality, evolution, one world religion and a loss America’s constitution will vex us deeply. We will see many of our brothers and sisters, in Messiah, leave the faith because what was “prophesied,” preached and taught them didn’t happen that way.
Please, I beseech you, learn the tough lessons, consecrate yourselves, buy gold tried in Fire (Yahweh’s furnace of correction), eyesalve to see the truth of Scripture and “white robes” washed in the blood of the Lamb, the only way to live life worthy of eternal Glory in the presence of Yahweh our Elohiym.
